We had a wonderful experience in Nepal from the moment we land in Kathmandu to Lukla when the hike started and to Basecamp. Exquisite views all the way. It felt like another planet. I am grateful to our team and support system who made the excursion joyful and possible:-Bikal, Machhri, Kipa, Pemba and Rabyn. They are beautiful and kind souls.

They lifted our spirits when the altitude and mountains were challenging. It was my first in my life hike to sleep in hotels and eat at restaurants all 3 daily meals all the way up and down.

We reached EBC for real, hey but those stairs and acclimatization up !!!!

Thank you very much Aiming Adventure team you are the best. Your service was out of this world up until our departure at the airport.

Our trek to EVEREST BASE CAMP was in all ways an absolute amazing experience.
From our first contact with Bikal Duwadi, we were impressed with the manner he was assisting us and he was always prompt in replying to all our questions and requests.
We cannot thank him and his team enough for all the wonderful arrangements, help, guidance, care, patience and personal involvement to ensure everything went smooth all the way. We always felt safe and that they had our best interest at heart.
Our guide, Roman, is a very special person and we couldn't have been happier to had him as our guide. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and he took such good care of us, with the greatest respect. He has a special ability to add that extra factor to make your trek experience even more memorable.
Our two porters, Sushil and Sagar, were also amazing. They are very hard working young men, with an attitude to always give their best and their support was incredible.
I can in all honesty say that our Aiming Adventure Team were the best, always willing to go the 2nd mile for us and together we had so much fun.
Our hearts are filled with plenty of special memories, that we will treasure always.
A huge THANK YOU, for contributing to make my 4th visit to Nepal so special!
I can definitely recommend Aiming Adventure and wish them all the very best for the future.

The adventure of Everest base camp trekking and national lock down is a unique experience in my life. The staff of Aiming adventure was very kind, helpful and professional from the first day of my arriving. Even during the national lock down after the trekking, Bikal still did his best to make us feel comfortable in Kathmandu for two weeks.

During the trekking, Manu and Susan, our guide, were very nice guys willing to help, talk and share the experience with each other. I had a very nice experience not only on the trekking, but on making friends with them. They are also every professional and responsible. I got many useful tips from them to deal with my headache due to the high altitude. They also stopped my stupid ideas which may make my headache sever, such as taking a nap and hot show above 4000 m. I can say that without them I may not manage to get to my dream place, the Everest base camp. I also had a very nice time with the porters. I still cannot forget their smiles even they had 30 kg of bags on their shoulder.

I think I do not need to say any beautiful words on how fabulous the mountains are. But the staff of Aiming Adventure can makes see more on the beauty of Nepalese. I will definitely come back again for another trip and hope to have a trip together with them soon.

Aiming Adventure exceeded our expectations. Bikal was looking after every single detail to make our visit a unique experience. These included information and open communication before our trip, friendly reception and authentic concern about our comfort in Kathmandu, and of course; he monitored our journey during our hike to EBC. We were also so lucky to have Manu as our guide. He is really empathetic, he dominates everything around the Khumbu region, and he always has a contagious smile. Our porter Macheri was also a great asset. He was energetic, always happy, and good Nepali singer. Thank you for the exceptional experience!!

My two friend's and I had an excellent time trekking to EBC. Bikal, Manu our guide, and our porters all delivered excellent service with compassion and professionalism. Manu and the porters were all very experienced and guided us without any difficulty, they were all also very knowledgeable about the local towns/food/animals/etc. and always welcomed questions so that we could learn more about the rich Himalayan culture while on the trek. Overall the entire experience was very comprehensive and Bikal and the rest of the team were also very flexible and accommodating (e.g. Bikal went above and beyond to arrange 3 different driver arrangements as all 3 of us had different next destinations after the trek). Well worth every dollar, thank you to the entire Aiming Adventure team.

Bikal has a wonderful team and is a very Knowledgeable Organizer. I was provided all the information i needed for the Trek the day i arrived in Kathmandu. There were 2 guides assigned to our group, Binod and Roman. Both these guides were quite experienced and had a lot of information to share with us during the trek. They had organised accommodation, food arrangements and every other requirement in a very efficient manner. The guides made our experience of the whole trip wonderful. Excellent guys!!! keep it up.

Trekking EBC for my wife's 40th birthday was one of the most challenging adventures we have done since Kilimanjaro in 2009 for her 30th birthday.

It all started with the arrangements via Aiming Adventures (Bikal Duwaldi). Bikal and his team, Chirangibi Karki (Guide), Ambir (Porter) , Shobit (Porter) are the best ever. I will recommend Aiming Adventure to any person or group who plans an adventure in Nepal. Bikal, Pauli and I would like to thank you for the unforgettable experience with both of us celebrating our birthdays on trek and at EBC.

Planning to have birthday cakes on both occasions is something we will treasure for ever, not only are you and your team professionals but you guys made us feel at home, WELL DONE!!!!!

By gollly, what a trip! When another company stopped communicating part way through (and about 3 weeks before we wanted to start the trek) I panicked and Aiming Adventures came to our rescue.

When I emailed Aiming Adventures Bikal replied with 5 mins and from there constant communication around the trip, dates, and so on. Super flexible and easy to deal with.

Our guide was Chiran. Great guy, super helpful, and great walking buddy. Thumbs up too you boss.

All up if you want an amazing, hassle free, and just top notch experience this is the group you need in your life/Nepalese trekking experience. Noice!

I arrived in Katmandu with a bit of I-really-don't-know-what-to-do-yet kind of thing.. I really have a little in mind, then I started google-ing some ideas and this "Aiming Adventure" page came up and I have read the reviews and though they might help. Then everything happened fast! I HAD THE BEST ADVENTURE, EVER! With just a blink of an eye, they accommodated me like I was really prepared for my trek (Though I have a lot of trekking before doing this ONE OF A TREK) It was a tough one.. The views were amazing. Everything around me was amazing. But despite the days and the struggles I made it because for real, I had great company. Thank you, Aiming Adventure.. you made my trip a one to remember.. Kudos!

Travel Insurance

Aiming Adventure suggests you get travel insurance that covers all the added expenses that might result due to various health issues, injuries or accidents (together with the air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and other treatment costs). Also, make sure that your insurance policy covers all the extra activities that you are planning to accomplish throughout your stay in Nepal. In addition to this, the policy should also cover death, misplaced luggage, theft and liability, cancellations, medical treatment (counting hospital charges, cost of the medicine, doctor’s fees) as well as repatriation cost. Most of the days while trekking in Nepal takes you above an altitude of 3000m, it is kindly requested to ensure that your insurance policy covers treks that go over 4000m. Buying insurance is highly recommended.

Health, experience, and fitness:

Trekking in Nepal is physically tougher in some of the regions. However, no previous trekking experienced is required but if you have, it is a great plus point. Trekking in Nepal is a non-technical walk. The highest height you would reach on your trip is 5,550m (Kalapatthar) from sea level. The walk involves lots of ups and downhill takes you through local villages, farming lands, terraces, and riverside but as long as you have a strength of walking for 4 to 6 hours a day, you are qualified for the trek. However, you should be having moderate health and fitness. We strongly suggest travelers consult with your medical doctor before traveling and do the regular checkup of your health and report us while booking a trip with us.

A part of the health and fitness, the participant must be having a positive attitude and strong determination for the successful trip.

Altitude Information

AMS (acute mountain sickness) is a serious issue. It is the result of the failure of the body to adapt to high altitudes and can affect anyone, regardless of age or fitness. It usually occurs above 2,500m and the likelihood of being affected increases as you ascend. The way to reduce the effects of altitude is to ascend slowly, 300 meters per day above 3,000 meters until you have acclimatized. Poor acclimatization results in a headache, nausea, sleeplessness, difficulty breathing and swelling of fingers and glands. The only cure for AMS is to descend to a lower altitude and your guide’s decision on this matter is final.

Although our routes are carefully planned to allow for proper acclimatization you may feel some effects of altitude for the first few days or at higher altitudes. Breathlessness, lethargy and mild headaches are not uncommon and generally decrease as your body adjusts. Maintaining adequate fluid intake is essential. Please advise your guide if you feel more severe symptoms and do not medicate yourself without discussing it with them first.

So, overall, you have a different choice of food on the trek. You can pick up from the menu whatever you would like to have.

Best Trekking Seasons:

We do have two best seasons to attempt this in Nepal. As this trip is a big trip for you, we always suggest you come at the right time of the year as far as possible.
Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time to trek. Rhododendron flowers in bloom- excellent trails and clear skies, best visibility. Good Temperature, warmest weather of the year.
Autumn: - (Mid-September, October, and November) - Excellent trails, clear blue skies, best visibility, neither too hot nor too cold time. This is another best time to trek.
Winter Months: - (December, January, and February) are also good, but it’s obviously colder than other times. You have to be prepared for this. It is up to you to plan this trek at this cold time or not.
Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid-June, July, and August). We do not suggest you this time for the trek.

The person will be holding a placard with your name on it. You will be taken to the hotel in a private vehicle. We manage a tourist standard hotel for you at the heart of Kathmandu city and that would be at Thamel. You will take rest at the hotel and we make sure of your comfort. Then later you get introduced to our company’s team and other members of the trekking group who will go on a trek together with you. You might as well go around the city if time permits. Day: 02 - Kathmandu-Lukla-Phakding - (2,652m/8,700ft) -

We will take an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The view of the natural beauty of Nepal with hilly landscapes and the Himalayan range is simply amazing. After around 30 minutes’ flight, we reach Lukla airport. Some of our crew members will be waiting at the airport to carry your bag. We will stay there for a while to have hot breakfast and to adjust with that altitude while porters tying their duffel bags. From Lukla, we will start the trek on foot. The walk starts with the entry through Pasang Lhamo memorial gate. The trail takes us to the village of Cheplung. There is the Cheplung Gompa named after the village. We will visit the Gompa for a short while and continue our walk. Further ahead, we get a glimpse of Dhudh Koshi River flowing down below the valley. The trail then takes us to Thado Koshi after crossing the suspension bridge. There are few sparsely clustered houses along the way. We occasionally pass through Monasteries, Gompas, and Chortens decorated with colorful prayer flags along the way. This reflects the people’s inclination towards Buddhist religion.
